About Wings of War: Famous Aces
As war rages across Europe, players take to the sky as any
of 18 real life World War I flying aces including Eddie Rickenbacker, Rene
Fonck, Ernst Udet, and the Red Baron himself, Manfred von Richthofen. Staying
faithful to the original board game, players use maneuver and damage decks as
they clash in deadly mid-air combat, dodging infantry fire and bursting enemy
balloons in either the single-player campaign or worldwide multiplayer battle!
Airplanes can be as different as the aces who command them
and the fighters in Wings of War: Famous Aces are no exception. With a variety
of maneuver and damage deck combinations, players must master each plane if
they’re going to become a top ace. Players will deal with broken rudders,
flaming engines, jammed guns, and a hail of bullets in their pursuit of the
shooting down the enemy and winning the war—are you up to the challenge?
